Items Required for a Mortgage Application

Liberty Bank for Savings is a community bank that serves our neighbors and surrounding communities only.

Purchases:

  1. Application Deposit
  2. Purchase contract with all riders and earnest money receipt
  3. Last two years of Federal Income Tax returns with all schedules and W-2s
  4. 1 month of current pay stubs
  5. If retired – Social Security and pension benefits statements
  6. If self-employed – current income and expense statement
  7. All credit information
  8. Mortgages, auto loans, credit cards, etc.
  9. If no credit history – 1 year paid rent receipts and utility bills
  10. All account information
  11. Savings, checking, certificate of deposit passbook or 3 months of statements
  12. Current statement on stocks, life insurance, bonds and money market funds
  13. Buyer and seller real estate agents: name, address and telephone number
  14. Buyer and seller attorneys: name, address and telephone number
  15. Landlord’s name and address, if currently renting
  16. Divorced individuals – copy of divorce decree
Refinances: In addition to items 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11 please include copies of the following:
  1. Title Policy or Warranty Deed for Property
  2. Survey of property
  3. Current homeowners insurance policy
  4. Last real estate tax bill
Condominiums: In addition to items 1-11 please include copies of the following:
  1. Copy of declarations, by-laws and any amendments
  2. Budget statement for current and past year
  3. Current income and expense statement
